Wonderful news!

Dear, dear friends and family - we have just heard and wanted to let you know the prognosis for Jon is good - a theoretical cure - debatable whether he will need a mop up dose of chemo in a few months' time but he doesn't have to worry about that now and can take professional advice from everyone involved when he is over his op. He will be home before weekend if everything goes to plan.

Thanks you so, so much for all your support - I will blog again tonight.

    Just noticed we are creeping nearer the 2,000 mark - hope Marilyn is ready for her close up! What style is the now infamous photo going to be in - Rubens? Renoir? Or maybe Modigliani? Or are you just going to opt out and post a photo of yourself as a baby!! We await the final decision!xx Tessa

    Hi Jon & Marilyn - Fantastic news, it's really cheered us all up here as well. Jane rang me at work to tell me the news, which was a shame, as I was playing golf and she only just remembered as she was asking my colleague to speak to me. She then had to admit she had no idea why she had rung me at work! Bet Jon is looking forward to coming home to his own bed & Marilyn's cooking. Love to all.
