Thanks for your messages

Thanks for all your wonderful comments. There clearly is a lot of pressure on you all to be witty but it is not necessary. Keep them coming, however but we are equally happy just to have a "hello, how are you, thinking of you"

Just off to buy a hat to go with the bag.

    Fabulous uncle (and great) Jon jon we love you sooooooooooooooooooo much! A bit early for poo jokes from down under from us, well for now!!!!!! However I will get your frogs in space partner in crime to sus some out in the school yard for future comments. A Poobah reference just sprung to mind but will leave it for now!

    So glad we don't have to be witty on the blog anymore,thank you for that. I was beginning to worry that I'd say something and make an arse of myself so it's quite a relief.

    Dear Jon,

    We guess just getting something like Swine flu wouldn't have been enough for you, you just had to go that little bit further - ever the showman.

    At least you haven't made mention of your 'anus horribilis', and you won't have to, as we are sure that this year will have a very positive outcome now you're in safe hands (so to speak..)and with your loving family around you.

    Just wait till those nurses set eyes on your posterior they'll be no holding them back, hope Marilyn isn't leaving you alone in there!

    We're pleased they are treating you well and can't wait to see your ever smiling face.

    p.s. A word of advice - If you happen to have an American doctor - the word they use for Bum happens to be Fanny - we just thought we'd mention that in advance to clear up any potentally nasty mix ups.

    Jon, just back from a few days away.
    Frieda & I have been thinking of you all this time and trust that you are managing to keep your spirits high despite all the traumas. I can't & don't want to imagine all the abuse your system has been through over the the last weeks and am glad to here how well the hospital is looking after you.Needless to say we both send you our love for a speedy & successful recovery & I look forwaed to seeing you when visiting permitted.
