Back on track!

Much better today, nausea gone, farting and back on sloppy foods – who could ask for more! He is officially the last patient in the hospital now but he has his two favourite nurses on duty this afternoon so he is more than happy making them giggle. Dressing is off his wound, which is about 3 inches long (Jon would be furious with me for not using centimetres!!), little bit red and angry so they are keeping their eye on that – staples which will be removed in 10 days. He is resting well, watching TV and reading the papers. Physio have got him on breathing exercises already and he is walking up and down the corridor all the time. Me, I’m going to curl up and watch a film tonight and go to bed early! Goodnight!

Im guessing you'll get this on Sunday, so Happy Birthday ! Glad to hear all went well and wishing you a speedy recovery .....birthdays! there are better places to spend them and there are certainly worse! We spent Frankies on Thurs in a restuarant with 14 15 year olds - still not sure how we didnt get thrown out - all that thigh and clevage ! (thought that would wake you up ! ) and the noise ......!!! and the bill!!!

Very pleased to read yesterday's report.
This morning is fine and sunny where we are - so "Many Happy Returns" - and I hope today's improvement is even better than yesterday's

  7. I just read londonolympicblog.com. I loved it, actually had tears in my eyes. You learn something new every day, had no idea about the secret race between Owens and Hitler. Obviously you are a very sick and tormented individual. Keep it up, I might just print it all and preserve it for prosperity.
